Not Good For Us

Not Good For Us is Nous Disques' latest foray into bringing together artists to share a hypothetical space in which to explore a singular idea; this idea being stripped back, bare bones techno in all its hues. For this experimental release Nous have invited three artist to each submit a brace of tracks and the final package is a compulsive window into the way microgenres within a distinguished sound can work so harmoniously, from Thoden's polyrhythmic 'Huey' and the uncanny breakbeats of 'Lip Therapy', to Pugilist's urgently minimal 'Motif' and meditative yet menacing 'OS 7152' and not forgetting Silene's contributions in the form of the dense yet funky 'Nakano' and the gritty deconstructed warmth of 'TM2BTGR', no stone in contemporary techno has been left unturned.
